Aurora

This was my submission for the Art Heroes Superhero Challenge 2020 at the end of may. This was a seven day challenge to create a superhero of your own design. My hero is named Aurora and she can create light ribbons with her magic wand that she uses to defeat enemies.
I have included my original submission but I really wanted to come back to this project to create a more dynamic pose. Originally I posed her in Zbrush which didn't give me as much control as if I had rigged her in Maya and posed her that way so I took one extra day and did just that. I really enjoyed the original seven day challenge and it was fun to see what I could do in a short amount of time.
I modeled and poly-painted her in Zbrush, originally posed in Zbrush and came back and did it in Maya, rendered in Marmoset, and composited in Photoshop.
